About Us
Down Range Indoor Training Center is the area’s only 25-yard pistol, rifle and shotgun range as well as the area’s only full service uniform shop. We have a full-line firearms retail area as well as an on-site gunsmith. We currently offer numerous training classes including CCW, Advanced pistol courses and specialized training for women and youth. Down Range is different because we have created a customer service based atmosphere that promotes a healthy learning environment for anyone who wants to utilize our facility. We are Northern California’s 0nly 5 star rated range, and one of two 5 star ranges in the entire state rated by the National Shooting Sports Foundation.

On April 19th, 2025, from 7:30AM to 10AM, Down Range, in collaboration with CRPA, will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the “Shot Heard Around the World” with ranges across California participating in this historic event. All firearms owners and supporters are invited to take part and fire their own symbolic “shot” to make our Second Amendment freedoms heard. Everyone is welcome to participate, and firearm rentals will be available for those who need them. The event schedule includes check-in from 7:30 to 8:00AM, a brief history of the original “Shot Heard Around the World” from 8:00 to 8:15AM, a firearm safety briefing from 8:15 to 8:30AM, and the live-fire portion from 8:30 to 10:00AM.
